Editorial Policies
Sadra Danesh Negar Publishing follows the ICMJE Recommendations (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) as the foundational framework for all editorial decisions. These recommendations govern authorship criteria, manuscript preparation, peer review, and editorial independence.
Key requirements for all submissions:
-
Authorship statement – Must follow ICMJE’s four criteria:
-
Substantial contribution to conception/design or data acquisition/analysis
-
Drafting or revising critically for intellectual content
-
Final approval of published version
-
Accountability for all aspects of the work
Non-author contributors (e.g., medical writers, statisticians) must be acknowledged in a separate section.
-
-
Competing interest disclosure – All authors must complete the ICMJE uniform disclosure form. Financial (e.g., consulting fees, stock ownership, grants) and non-financial (e.g., personal relationships, academic rivalry) interests from the prior 36 months must be declared. Conflicts that do not affect the work must still be disclosed.
-
Data availability statement – Authors must state whether raw data are available, where they can be accessed (e.g., public repository, supplemental files, or on reasonable request from corresponding author). For clinical trials, individual participant data sharing plans must be included.
Consequence of non-compliance: Manuscript returned without review.
